greetings!

been a while since I posted to this list, but after doing some
quick research I do not see many/any references to using
sanitizer with Squirrelamail. I turned on sanitizer on my system
about a week ago with all features disabled, last night I turned
on a few of them and all my emails could not display inline in
squirrelmail, everything showed as attachments. The particular
rule in sanitizer that seemed to have done this is:

feat_files = 1

All messages were shown as attachments with mime type
application/defang shown as 0 bytes. when the attahcment
is downloaded the message is viewable(so it's clearly not 0
bytes). My question is has anyone run SM with sanitizer? Is there
a workaround to this? Perhaps a change to the sanitizer source
so it marks it as another mime type? Add this mime type to
my apache config? Perhaps a newer version of SM? I am using
SM 1.2.5, I tried 1.2.7 but it had a odd issue with the folder
list so I'm back to 1.2.5, its been the most reliable(short
of 1.2.4) to date for me.

sample from my sanitizer log:

Sanitizer (start="1036140194"):
  SanitizeFile (filename="unnamed.txt", mimetype="TEXT/PLAIN"):
    Match (rule="default"):
      Enforced policy: defang

    Replaced mime type with: application/DEFANGED-5211
    Replaced file name with: unnamed_txt.DEFANGED-5211

  Total modifications so far: 1

anyone have experience with this? thanks!

nate
