No, just make sure in your apache configuration that the base directory
for your ssl site includes the SM directory (usually it's just the same
as the base directory for your non-ssl site).

After that, it should work automatically -- try by going to NON-ssl
login page and the plugin should automatically redirect you to an ssl
connection.
