I've got Squirrel 1.2.10 running on a RH8 box. I've got squirrel using an exchange server. My question is, what does squirrel use to send mail?
THE SMTP service on the Exchange Server.

Here's my problem: I send mail, but it doesn't always go. Internally, it works fine, but most outside email addresses don't work. Now, when I look at the undeliverable message I get back after 4 hours, it says it's coming from an IP address of 127.0.0.1. Shouldn't that say the outside IP address of the server?
Sounds to me as if you have the IP/Domain name of the SMTP server wrong in the config: use the private IP to which the outside IP is mapped in the firewall. If everything is running inside a firewall, on private IP's, you'll need a DNS to do the resolving, or maybe to set up your HOSTS file on the servers (SM and ES).
