  At a rough guess, yes... the message is basically saying $_SESSION
  hasn't been defined. The odd thing is, $_SESSION is a superglobal in
  certain versions of PHP (4.2.0 and higher I believe) so it shouldn't
  require defining. Did you try the php.ini modification I suggested?
