I actally got them working over sessions now, read below.. > If you are using a database to backend the prefs, I discovered an error > that prevented preferences from being stored correctly. I have noted that i normally have to "Sign Out" in order to get a change to take. ( i.e. logout/login ) And in some cases i have to repeat this a few times to get the setting there. This was the scenario for the sorting "buttons". -- The thing that got strange after setting the sort order now is that when i change to the "INBOX" folder i always end up in "page 1". i.e. i always see the first mail in the mailbox. I then have to change the page to "13" where the last mail is.. I assume that this is by design? I have used the IMHO webmail package before and there you have a setting of where the "first" and "last" mail should be in the message view. I.e bottom-up or up-down. This setting is per user and is under "Options". There is also a possibility to sort items but this completely separated from the view order option and is implemented in the same way as in SM. /SqM ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com -- squirrelmail-users mailing list List Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List Archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=2995 List Info: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
