i just observed that courierimapsubscribed and courierimapuiddb files are created when you log in squirrelmail. provided option 16 in folder option of conf.pl is set true.
maildirmake just create three files curl ,new and temp.

what i notised that in other user Maildir this two files are missing
courierimapsubscribed and courierimapuiddb , is this two files auto genearted ? if i try to copy this files two this folder still it does not work .
any help on creating this files.
i did not create this file on first user ,it generated automatically only.

This shouldn't matter in this case.You should be very careful when changing the configuration of an SMTPagain i am student and new at all this stuff so please forgive me .
