(cc'd to sm-users) First of all, I hope you've grabbed the version I released last week from the SM website - it has some fixes that might be more recent than what you have.
Second, please give more information about the error you get when you are unable to log in. Since SM is web-based, the location of your web browser should not cause different behaviors.... shouldn't ;-) Are you using the exact same URL in the address bar in all browsers? If you turn on $debug=1 and try it from different locations, what results do you get? Are they different? I won't be on email tomorrow, but will reply ASAP on Friday if someone else hasn't already.
