Due to mail problem I'm having with a NetZero account, I'm reposting this
from my other mail account. Please excuse me if this is a duplicate.
I'm having problem using vlogin plugin on the following platform:
RH8.0
Apache 2.0.40-11.5
PHP 4.2.2-8.0.7
imap-2001a-15
SM 1.2.11-1
vlogin 3.1
Basically, I'm having a problem logging in. Without the vlogin, I can login
and use the SM flawlessly. I've also tried installing "virtusertable"
plugin, and it seems to work fine. It allows me to logon using fully
qualified domain name. However, when I install vlogin it hoses.
What I'm trying to accomplish is following:
1. Let the users logon using their own email address (i.e.
[EMAIL PROTECTED])
2. The users will be logging in from a single web address (i.e.
webmail.edula.com)
3. When the users send out-bound mail, the mail header (From) address should
be their virtual domain name (translated from the /etc/mail/virtusertable).
I have followed the README and INSTALL files to best of my knowledge, but it
still does not work. Can someone offer help? The compatibility and vlogin
plugins have been installed using ./conf.pl. I also have SMTP AUTH enabled
on this machine in case this may have some impact.
The config.php contains the following virtualDomains array.
