Great!!

But then, how do I translate the username part?

For example, I have a user in the virtusertable

[EMAIL PROTECTED] two

When the user logs in as a [EMAIL PROTECTED], the squirrelmail logs in the user as a local "two" user. When this user sends an outbound email, the FROM address is being composed as [EMAIL PROTECTED]: a local username + domain name (from users.dat) How do I translate the username part to the virtual username, so that the mail goes out from [EMAIL PROTECTED]? Is there a variable that translate this name in the users.dat file (much like domains=domain.com, i.e username=virtual user)?

Thanks,

Scott

if you are logging in thru the same address (webmail.edula.com?), then

this is working exactly as advertised. setting

$smHostIsDomainThatUserLoggedInWith to 1 would force everyone's domain

to be edula.com.

again, it can't be per-domain if you're not allowing logins from more

than one domain. you should indicate a per-user file in config.php and

that file should contain entries such as (I still don't know what your

IMAP user names look like, so I'm guessing that they are just usernames

without the email stuff on the end - if not, adjust the left column as

necessary):

jose, domain=someotherdomain.com

mary, domain=someotherdomain.com

phillip, domain=yetanother.com

should work fine - you seem to have this working?
