Dear List: Would anybody be willing to work with me on a new vacation plugin? I am hoping to create a vacation plugin that works without ftp, for a qmail/vpopmail type installation. I would create a local program that acts as a "vacation program", which will create the necessary files in a user's vpopmail directory, given the proper arguments. I would need someone to create or adapt one of the vacation plugins to call a local program with the needed information instead of trying to upload the files by ftp. The syntax for this program would be:
program-name param1 param2 param3 param4 param1: Count timer in seconds param2: Amount of messages from the same recipient to send replies to within the count timer param3: Vacation message param4: User's vpopmail directory (ex. /home/vpopmail/domains/aderes.net/d-sqm/) If the program returns 0, the operation was successful. If the program returns something, the operation was not successful, and what is returned is the error message. Does anybody feel up to the challenge? :) You should be able to completely code the plugin given the information provided. If I was confident in PHP, I would code this myself, but alas I'm not very good. I will work on the local program. If someone decides they would like to work on this, email me and I'll make sure there's not two of you on the same project.
