Latest CVS snapshot (071803) of stable SM 1.4.2

Thanks for this great webmail first... much improved over our last one
which shall remain nameless.

Doing some testing.

Have Options - Display Preferences - Message Display - Show HTML Version
by default- set to no,

I received a message which has no text version, and it displays really
ugly. (i.e. displays the html, does not render it)

I would guess that "by default" would mean that if the email is only HTML,
then the HTML version should display, correct?

searched archives, on this, did not find anything.. are they broken?

so ?
is this a bug or feature?
workaround - Is there a way to set the default preference on this item to
"Show HTML version" - yes ... so I dont get a bunch of complaints...
