Paj,

I also use vim when editing in console mode on my linux boxes. It's a very
powerful editor.

However, if you do any sort of major file manipulation under Windows, I
would seriously recommend getting a copy of Textpad. I've been using it
for years now - it's the first tool I install on any new machine I get!
