For most of things, it is. 1.4.1 has a cleaner, better looking GUI. It is also 
(at least) slightly faster (your milleage might vary). But I had troubles, as 
seen in the mailing list

For the answer, I will wait for 1.4.2 before upgrading to 1.4.x.

I've also seen a few problems with 1.4.1 in the user list. Not everybody is 
having the problems, though. Don't get me wrong. But for a live site, I like 
better "proven" software before cutting edge software. I'll try it, but I 
will back up if I get trouble.
