1. No wonder I can't get vacation ftp connection.
I got my logs showing "FTP LOG IN REFUSED (ftp not in /etc/passwd) "
My ftp actually reading /etc/passwd list instead of my userdb. Anyway, the
format is different.

2. Hmm, seems like i'm having an internal Courier problem. I think I better
solve the dotforward problem first, before doing this.

program might refuse to process .forward file that is world writable

.forward is stored in user's home directory.

One suggestion. Drop legacy .forward support and do it courier way.

Ask plugin's author about implementing vacation filter. there is example
in maildrop manual. But you still have to be able to use ftp from
webserver to imap.
