Don't hold your breath on this one; the thing is that no other mail service lets you upload and type at the same time for a very good reason - it's convoluted and not exactly the way web applications usually work. Sure, SM could be the leader amongst web-based email apps and implement this functionalitiy, but I think most of us are busy with bigger fish...
