Greetings, Trying to do a new install of SM 1.4.2 on a RH8 box with PHP 4.1.2. The httpd is running as nobody, so I've chown'd the SM files to nobody. Is that right? Having a bit of an old timer's moment with that. Also should add that PHP is *not* running in safe_mode. I am now (back) on the SM list, so need to CC: me.
Anyway, when I click on Options->Personal Information I receive the following error: ERROR: Error opening timezone config, contact administrator. Yet the timezone is correctly set on the box. What exactly is it looking for? Second, I tried adding a bunch of plugins and none of them are showing up in Options. Perhaps it's a PHP problem, perhaps it's a config error, or perhaps this is all just a bad dream. I just spent the last couple hours searching Google and the list archives and coming up blank.
