I want to change the default so that when I mail things to people for whom
I do not have nicknames set up in my address book (although I may think I
do) they do no go out. Right now, if I type in a name and it does not
find an address, it simply defaults to sending the mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] For example, say I think that a friend of mine named
John is set up in my address book, but actually isn't. I send him a
letter and type only "john" in the "to" form. Rather than going to the
right address (say, [EMAIL PROTECTED]) or telling me "sorry, 'john' is not a
viable nickname" it simply sends the letter along to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
whoever that may be. This is BAD. It means that I send emails to
strangers and think that information has been conveyed to friends that
hasn't. How do I make this stop (aside from making sure I have everyone's
email in my address book- which brings me to another point- how do I take
all of my addresses from my evil hotmail account and put them here - my
new account- without cutting and pasting them all by hand?).
