I'm using Apache (Server version: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.47) and PHP (mod_php-4.3.3-2mdk) with SquirrelMail (Version 1.4.2) on a Mandrake 9.2 machine.
Whew, now that that's out of the way... When I log in, SquirrelMail allows me to log in regardless of the capitalization I use (ie, bob == Bob == BOB == bOb). However, SquirrelMail creates a new set of configuration files for each variation used. I haven't figured out if this is a bug or a feature... On the upside, any user can reset their settings simply by changing their capitalization. If they wanted to, they could even maintain separate profiles with different color schemes and filtering options. On the other hand, I've had users complaining that half the time they log in, their signature is missing and some of their settings have gone wonky. It seems like an easy thing to fix, but I thought I'd bring it up so it could get taken care of by the pros. :) -- \\\\\ [EMAIL PROTECTED] \\\\\\\__o Bringing hedgehogs to the common folk since 1994. __\\\\\\\'/________________________________________________________ Visit http://www.hedgie.com for information on my latest book, "Waiting for War," published by Aventine Press! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: SourceForge.net Broadband Sign-up now for SourceForge Broadband and get the fastest 6.0/768 connection for only $19.95/mo for the first 3 months! http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id%62&alloc_ida84&op=click -- squirrelmail-users mailing list List Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List Archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id)95 List Info: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
