Does Squirrelmail work with Outlook?
I am sorry, but I have searched and searched your site for this answer and didn't find it.
Thanks, Jill
SquirrelMail and Outlook are both IMAP mail clients. They operate independently.
SquirrelMail can not be viewed inside Outlook like Hotmail can. Hotmail is a POP client - it retrives mail from the server into the local Outlook mail store.
SquirrelMail is an IMAP client - all mail remains on the server. Outlook can also act as an IMAP client. If you add an account to Outlook for the same IMAP account that SquirrelMail interacts with, you should be able to view and modify mail in both places, presuming that the IMAP server allows direct client access (on the IMAP port 143).
