1. change default attachment directory option and use automated tools to clean old files in attachment directory. 2. enable directory hashing 3. user preferences are stored in * username.pref - preferences * username.abook - address book * username.sig - default signature * username.si? - other signatures * username.*.cal - calendar files * username.words - squirrelspell personal dictionary * other username.* files might belong to some plugins. 4. squirrelmail supports only one preference backend.
