Further investigation reveals that the IMAP server is being killed with 
sig 11 by grsec.  Probably because GRSEC does not recognise it as a server 
and when it goes to idle kills it - I have not yet worked out how grsec is 
set up to do this but am working on it! (part of Mandrake msec?) The 
problem does not occur without imapproxy because of course the IMAP process is not 
idle.

In short - not for this list!  But just in case it is relevant to anyone 
else....
