I'm about to install IMAP-Proxy on my Whitebox Linux 3.0 ES
based on Redhat 3.0 ES server, thought I'd run it by the pro's
first.

After compiling the program to make SM use IMAP-Proxy,
IMAP Server needs to be change to use ip/port.

Create a virtual hosts for my SM.

Create necessary IPTables accept rules.

Have I missed anything?



I'm assuming your mail server sits somewhere else.... Othrewise, there's
no point in using it...

Patently false. IMAPProxy is an extremely valuable tool even on machines where IMAP and SM run together. You might want to read a little more starting at:
