The problem is that I do not have access to the root of the server. I
have so many ip addresses that I can use. The server was setup using a
program called Ensim Pro. This program installs and earlier version of
Squirrel Mail for each domain that is set up. I then go and upgrade.
Depending on who the domain is for I will install certain of the plugins.
I always install the admin plugin because I do not have shell access
except with special permission. The calendar is always installed. I also
upgrade to the latest stable version. This works for me and my customers
stay happy. It's not ideal, but I can deal with it.
