As I understand it Courier does the job of Sendmail, > procmail, and imap and pop. Is this correct?
You can use Courier IMAP alone -- http://www.courier-mta.org/imap/ and procmail has supported the Maildir format since 1999 -- http://www.procmail.org/procmail.HISTORY.html 1999/11/22: v3.14 Changes to procmail: Some zero-length extractions using \/ could core dump Missed a couple possible overflows Eliminated the conflict with the C9x `restrict' keyword Support delivery to maildir mailboxes Google is your friend. It took less than 5 minutes to find this information. You'll also probably want to use the courier-pop server included in the imap distribution unless UW understands Maildir format. You'll also need to convert your existing mbox mailboxes to maildir format. I leave that research to you. -- Marc ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
