As far as I know, and I could be way off, the themes don't apply to the login.php file at all. If you are competent with PHP, you can open the login.php file itself and apply your own modifitications. I know I have removed some of the info on mine like the gray box that has the "Company Logo" in it and also most all the text. I'm sure if you play around with it you could make it look however you want.
