Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good freeware new mail notifier that sits in the Windows system tray? For a variety of reasons, our users are complaining that the notification methods in the new mail options aren't working for them.
Thanks, Sean
Sean,
Most of the mail checkers that reside in the system tray are for POP3 connections. If you're looking for a checker that will talk to an IMAP server, try IMAP Notify from Van Dyke Software (http://www.vandyke.com/pub/imapnotify/inotify104.exe). It's not officially supported by Van Dyke and you will not find any links to it on their website, but it works. I've personally used it for several years now without a hitch.

Too bad...
