First off, this is not an SM question. This is something that the tech
support of your ISP should be answering for you.

Several things. First off, stop using POP and use IMAP instead. Your ISP
must have an IMAP server or they couldn't be using SM for their webmail
client (SM requires an IMAP server). Conveniently, IMAP clients (even
Outlook I believe) default to leaving the messages on the server.
Second, double check the specific computer that was misconfigured, it
might still have the email on it
