well, from what I remember of the original post, the IMAP username was
in the form "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and the user was trying (w/out success) to
login with "user".  this plugin will automatically add on the
"@domain.tld" which is the right IMAP username.  if that's not what IMAP
wants, then you have to provide more details about your setup and how
you are logging in.

yep.  if your imap usernames look like "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" then that's
what you have to log in with.  if you are and your (debugging enabled,
right?) logs show a username of "user" being used, then you have to
figure out who is stripping the domain off.  it's probably not SM unless
you have some extra plugins installed (deactivate them all for testing).
