I use SquirrelMail 1.4.4 for remote access to my mail (Courier) and Outlook XP when at home. In SquirrelMail folder options I have selected to show both unseen and total numbers.
When I have deleted mails via Outlook, the next time I go into SquirrelMail the "total" number for that folder is not zero, but the number of emails deleted via outlook. This figure remains until I view the folder in question and then click on "Check Mail". Its not a big problem, but I would like to at least understand what causes this.
