I seem to be running into a similar problem. I have qmail 1.03 + vpopmail + qmailadmin + courier imap. For some reason when users try to log into imap, or sqwebmail, they get an error that they "INVALID USER ID OR PASSWORD" and an invalid password when logging into courier. This problem seems to be sporadic. If I restart the authdaemon service, they can get in just fine, but then the problem arises again after about an hour. I have authdaemon and authvchkpw modules configured for authentication. Has anyone else run into a similar problem? I am really looking for some insight. Thanks!!
