Hello all,
I am trying to install sqwebmail to get a WebMail interface for my qmail
server. Server Details:

stock RedHat 7.3 install, currently up2date
qmail 1.0.3, installed as per Life With qmail

According to the INSTALL readme file, I know that I need either DB or GDBM.
When I run the 'configure' command, teh config script barfs on DB/GDBM. The
exact error messages are:
checking for gdbm_open in -lgdbm... no
checking for gdbm_open... no
checking for dbopen in -ldb... no
checking for db_open in -ldb... no
checking for db_env_create in -ldb... no
checking for dbopen... no
checking for db_open... no
checking for db_env_create... no
configure: error: Cannot find either the gdbm or the db library.

So, I ran the 'rpm -qa | grep db and found that I have the following
packages installed:
gdb-5.2-2
db3-3.3.11-6
db2-2.4.14-10
pwdb-0.61.2-2
gdbm-1.8.0-14
db1-1.85-8
db3-utils-3.3.11-6
kdbg-1.2.4-4

I see that gdbm is listed among them. My question is, if I have gdbm
installed, why can't the config script find it?

If this gdbm is not what I need, can someone point me to the DB or GBDM
package that I need to install?

TIA
Jason Murray
