I'm managing a server, running qmail, vpopmail, qmailadmin and sqwebmail.
My question is, say that the server is
server.somehost.com, and user addresses is @somehost.com.

Why, when user send an email, the return path is @server.somehost.com, and
not @somehost.com (I linked ~vpopmail/users with
~vpopmail/domains/somehost.com, so that user can login and check their mail
via POP, without need to give their full address like [EMAIL PROTECTED],
but only john) except if user login with full address such as
[EMAIL PROTECTED] not john only.

is there anyone who ever experienced the same problem, because it will be
annoying for user as if they send an email to somebody, and the email is
bounce, the bounce will not go back to them, but will discarded (go to
account postmaster as double bounce, but as the postmaster using
@crosswinds.net, crosswinds will bounce the bounce, which makes triple
bounce, and the bounce then discarded).

Is there anyone who has solution to overcome this problem ?, because I
think user will be annoyed if they know they will not get bounce in case
they send email to invalid address.

Thanks
