For those of you it might concern.
It seems that Mr. Sam (at last) adopted Ken Jones modified version of
preauthvchkpw.c (my small attached patch). The patch adds the
"pop-before-smtp" feature to sqwebmail, and probably
to courier-imap too.
ESMTP is cool, but this is nice to have too!
You apply the patch by the following:
1. extract the sqwebmail or courier-imap source. (tar -zxvf
the_file.tar.gz)
2. change directory to the sqwebmail or courier-imap source directory.
3. type "patch -p0 < preauthvchkpw.patch"
configure, compile and enjoy!
