Francis,
Both Netscape and Oulook support IMAP+SSL. Courier IMAP will check (when
running ./configure) if you have the openssl library installed and install
the ssl version of imap. This is described in the INSTALL document under the
section "IMAP over SSL".

Piping thru SSL, how to get courier IMAP to listen at SSL port and which
port, since port 443 would be used by some other apps?


Another thing is which IMAP client would support that since my main purpose
is to notify users of any new emails in the mailbox and not to be used for
some other means.
