It doesn't matter anyway, qmail never *generates* email. You, a
client, generate it and you should be responsible for putting in the
Date header, not qmail. It doesn't matter what sendmail does either
because it's not qmail.

You mean it can't be intelligent enough to convert it into local time
and display that so people like you can understand the date?
