Of course it is a problem with the client.  Note that sqwebmail correctly 
displays the date of any message from anywhere, adjusted into the local 
timezone.  Other mail clients can do the same.  Mail clients that do not do 
this are stupid.  Fixing stuff that isn't really broke, but is designed to 
compensate for poor code in other applications, isn't exactly a top priority 
for me.
