There never was a 1.6. The previous version was 1.2.5. THe major
difference between 1.2.5 and 2.0.0 is the addition of style sheets.

You missed the most crucial difference: a different browser. If you still
see this with Netscape or Mozilla, it would indicate a server issue. If you
do not see this with Netscape/Mozilla, this will rule out anything on the
server.
