Automatic purging?

In the SQWebMail preferences you can set a number of days before deleted
messages are automatically purged.

When is this purging done?

I assume that it is only done by SQWebMail? Is it done upon log-in?


Has anybody implemented a script to parse the sqwebmail-config file and
remove older messages from .Trash from the back end?
