password is rejected

Hi,
I have compiled and installed sqwebmail in our system.
But I found something strange, I can download the mail using mail 
reader, but everytime I use the sqwebmail it always say "invalid 
user ID or password", even when I put the same user id and 
password with the user id and password I used in mail client.
What file or configuration should I check to solve this problem ?
