Perl sometimes gives this ESPIPE after multiple errors.
Inspect the directory with ls -alR and rm -rf manually.
If the problem persist track it down and submit a patch
(check return-values after each command) or simply remove
the whole /var/cache/sqwebmail and also the crontab-entry
if you dont have a very busy webmail-server.
