Thanks i tried to change the line 'ldapsearch -l 60 -z 20 "$@"' to 
'ldapsearch -w secret -l 60 -z 20 "$@"', but doesent seem help, still get 'Enter LDAP 
password'.

This entry above the search text box looks like this, does not seem too good. 
(Maybe should look like this?)
ldap://389:"dc=domain, dc=com" "cn=Manager, dc=domain, dc=com" 
secret@:ldapserver.domain.com (system)
