Alright, i assume i have to specify -b also together with -w passwd, and things did 
happen when typed
        
        exec /usr/bin/ldapsearch -w secret -b "cn=Manager,dc=domain,dc=com" -l 60 -z 
20 "$@"

and now sqwebmail responsed with:
        Enter LDAP Password: ldap_search: No such object
        ldap_search: matched: DC=DOMAIN,DC=COM
