True. The problem that needs to be addressed then is how sqwebmail should deal with a heirarchy separator that is followed by a null mailbox name (essentially a folder with a trailing `.') At any rate, with the current state of the software is shouldn't even be possible to add a maildir with a trailing dot except from the command line. (At least I have not been able to create one in Netscape).
