Hi all,
We have a spam system in place that uses Spam Assassin on a per user level and sends all suspected spam to a seperate "Spam" folder (Maildir). This is all done with .qmail files and maildrop filters an it works quite well. The problem is that now we want to add sqwebmail into the mix and we dont want our customers deleting or renaming their Spam folders. In addition to this, the Spam folder is actually a symlink to a seperate user directory on another spool. Sqwebmail seems to have some trouble with this. Users can read the messages in the spam folder, but if they try to delete one of them, or move a message from another folder into the spam folder they get an "ERROR: You do not have permission to create messages in this folder, or you have exceeded your mail quota." I have checked all the permissions and they are correct for allowing a customer to copy from one folder into the other (it can be done by the user from a shell). So it boils down to two questions: 1. Whats the best way to keep a folder from being renamed or deleted like the INBOX and Trash folders? 2. Why does sqwebmail give me grief over writing to/deleteing from a symlinked Maildir folder, but no problem reading from it? (I chmod 777'ed the entire folder to make sure it wasnt permissions) Thanks, -Ken -- Ken Kirchner : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Assistant System Administrator : Tel (318)222-2638 ShreveNet, Inc. : Fax (318)213-2650 ShreveNet - Your Premium Internet Service Provider!
