I'm not going to accept any hacks of this nature. It's not sqwebmail's job to create your user account directories. That's your job, or your administrative scripts'.IMHO as far as the autocreation of mail is one of the features of vpopmail I think that implementing this feature
in the authvchkpw module of sqwebmail will increase the compatibility between the two products ;)
In the vpopmail libraries there are the function used to implement this feature.
You can have look at the function:
int vmake_maildir(char *domain, char *dir);
It can be used simply like:
vmake_maildir(domain, pwent->pw_dir) and it will create the right maildir with the right permissions
If you don't want this, I think you should give the end user a more friendly error message if sqwebmail
cannot access the user's maildir, Now it gives an internal server error ;)
