Hi jim: I encountered such problem with sqwebmail 3.4.0 . This is not a bug but an incompatible feature with traditional email clients (MUA)..Yes, it's so terrible :)
As my understand to sqwebmail source code and implemention, attachment and content implemention are in an unusuall way, missing some important features and with some extra even useless feature.... :-( So what we sqwebmail users could do is write a patch or redesign mechanism of attachment upload(send) and receive.. I have been partly implemented that sqwebmail can happily work with Outlook and Hotmail , which need some hard code and imcompletely RFC support.. I have reported such a problem with sqwebmail3.4.xx to the list but nobody response to me, and i had to fix it myself :( Jim Blankenship writes: > This problem is with SQWebmail (3.4.0.20021026). > > I would like to know if this has been identified by the developers. > If not I would be happy to help them to see this problem does exist. > If it has been identified, is there a fix? > > I don't want to install an older version on my production server. > > Has anyone tried the newest version? > Will it fix this problem? > > Thanks in advance for any info. > > Kind Regards, > Jim > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Jim Blankenship" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, December 12, 2002 1:57 PM > Subject: Re: [sqwebmail] Trouble sending attachments with SQWebmail 3.4 > > >> >> I get this question allot now.
