Some browsers render empty table cells improperly - ie. NN4 I think. Having something in there (preferrably <img src="fake.png" width="1" height="1" /> without fake.png needing to exist) makes the templates more compatible.
On the note of templates - I'm quickly whipping up a submission site for templates in PHP4+MySQL - I'll put up a link once done (it'll be a quick dirty whip up to get SOMETHING started on it). Or has anyone else done his, and if so, where?
