Hey now. Let's not go too far. I use vpopmail+sqwebmail on my production server with no problems. All I do is compile --without-authdaemon. The new vpopmail will probably be released sometime this year, and the current package maintainer is working on cleaning up the code. I think we'd be alienating a large portion of our user base (including myself) if we did anything like removing support for vpopmail. Questions won't kill anyone.
