Hi Brian, Greeting !!
Thanks for your reply. But my objective is to provide the control to the end user who will be uploading/importing the address book using a csv or txt file from their desktop or local computer.Like its available with other GUI client eg. @Mail etc. Is there any option in Sqwebmail to get that feature ? Note : I will not be using LDAP. -regards Sujoy --- Brian Candler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Mon, Oct 13, 2003 at 04:24:27AM -0700, sujoy > Ghosh wrote: > > How can I upload/import Outlook Express > addressbook > > (already converted in txt format) to the Sqwebmail > > without using LDAP. > > sqwebmail's personal address book is just a plain > text file called > "sqwebmail-addressbook" situated in the Maildir, in > aliases file format: > > nickname: address1, > address2, > address3 > > Simply create this file and chown it to the same > owner as the Maildir, and > you are done. > > > Is there any add-on or plugins available which > will > > enable any user thru webinterface to Browse & > upload > > txt file for address book. > > Not that I am aware of.
