Hi,
If you're that interested in an updated SqWebMail look, I suggest you might want to look at 2 other options as well.
You could use a CSS design, or the replacement icons, that I came up with earlier this year. (I think it was in late April or thereabouts, but you'd have to look in the main Courier mailing list -- not this one, which I wasn't on at the time -- to find my comments archived.) You can see it in action by using an example account I recently enabled for a few weeks at the URL http://jamescat.net/webmail/
user: example domain: mboro.org (that's the default text) password: testing
There are also some features enabled on that site which I'm working with Sam to (hopefully) have included in a future version of sqwebmail ("first/last page" buttons, behavior change for "select all", etc.) but they're not a part of the same style changes and image changes I'm referring to here. I'm just saying that you'll run into them as well if you look around at that example account.
I keep meaning to make screenshots, and publish them, but never get around to it. ... *shrug* Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. lol
Alternatively, while it's not quite like a skin... because it's so much more, being an off-shoot development of sqwebmail... If you really couldn't stand the original design, maybe the riwos project is for you. (I don't use it personally myself, as I want a mainstream version of sqwebmail for use on my system. But it seems fairly nice if you don't mind not being on the main tree.) It uses a combined interface and several other changes you can read about. I believe you can find it here:
http://www.riikari.net/riwos
From there you can see screen shots of what he's done, and can use the test account that's available on his system for that purpose.
There are others of course too I believe, but personally I don't know where they are. (Where is that "template archive" btw, Matt?) Anyway, I just thought you might like to see what 2 others have done with SqWebMail's interface. And maybe someone else would like to share their work too? I know I'd like to see others myself, if anyone feels like sharing more.
Meanwhile... Enjoy these, and kudos on making another design available. =)
